OTSD is both a site and an email chat list providing mutual support and information sharing between people who are interested in training, currently training or who already have a service dog who accompanies them through life.  OTSD aims to be a polite, respectful and welcoming environment for owner-trainers and their families (regardless of disability-type or experience level!) where questions can be asked and topics relevant to service dogs can be discussed and debated. Legalities of travel, housing and general public access.  Training methods and equipment.  Particular issues anyone is facing. It's even a great place to share about an achievement, newspaper story or accolade pertaining to you and your service dog or puppy-in-training!

Many list members have years of experience and immense amounts of knowledge about all things Service Dog, but don't despair if you're new to the service dog world!  We were all new to the service dog concept at some point and the OTSD list-owners and moderators truly believe that we all have a lot to learn from one another.
